As mentioned earlier acupuncture works by seeking to correct the imbalances in the body that cause the symptoms being experienced. By stimulating points on and under the skin energy is released and travels through channels in the body called meridians.

The needles are very fine, they do not hurt. A slight discomfort or dull ache can be felt for a moment but the overall experience should be healing and relaxing.
