IBS or irritable bowel syndrome is a disease that can affect our digestive system especially our intestines. It can cause gripy pain diarrhoea or constipation. From my experience with working with hundreds of people with these symptoms the main causes are stress,eating the wrong food,sudden intolerance to certain food even though for a long time it was ok, eating too much raw or cold food and icy drinks.
We will work to balance the energy to weakened areas and treat the person holistically as no one part of the body works independently from the other.

Some people also have a very delicate digestive system and they need to listen carefully to their body. Sometimes a process of elimination of certain foods for a couple of weeks at a time can identify something we are intolerant to.
The Chinese say that the intestines sort the pure from the impure not just food but mentally as well. Keeping our mind clear of bad news (information also needs digesting) and our body having to deal with less bad food or heavy food to digest gives our intestines a break. Keeping food simple and not having complex meals with meat grain and cheese all together but having light foods will give our intestines a break. Grilled meat with vegetables soups etc can give our digestion a break.
